I bought this razor for 3 months and still has the Braun Series 7 in the closet. There is simply no comparison as the Panasonic does the best job - I am one of those people who can not use a leaf because I constantly cut so I have been using electric shavers for over 10 years (always top of the Braun line except that now for this Panasonic). I never imagined that my face can be as mild as someone who uses a razor - thanks Panasonic! I achieve this great result with dry shaving, about 5 minutes and go twice in the neck area - while this Panny does a great job on the chin, like all electric, you need 2 or more passes in the areas the neck, but it's a small price to pay for a face really soft.
I clean my shaver with regular soap and water after each use, and use the cartridge only small, self-cleaning once a week - in the 3 months I had it, yet I have the original cartridge. One trick is to clean the water tank after each automatic cleaning to be done to prevent the accumulation of hair and premature drying of detergent cartridge.
If you can afford the high price, do yourself a favor and get it - your face will thank you.
